Special Olympics 2022 will be in Orlando Florida

I had a blast at the Special Olympics media event today! It was at the Orlando Executive Airport (never been there before), and it was right out on the runway/tarmac area. The president and CEO of the Special Olympics said some words, as well as the CEOs of the Greater Orlando Sports Commission and the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. Destiny Gerety, olympian, singer, and spokesperson also addressed the media.

Two of Orlando's Lynx busses pulled up with some pretty sweet designs on the sides promoting the games. And they just so happened to be carrying the athletes that were going to compete this June! And they were joined by a few WWENXT Superstars!

To cap it all off, the NXT Superstars and Special Olympians participated in a little bit of a physical demonstration. Then they were all presented with championship belts and I gotta tell you, I'm hyped for June!

Not only did Jersey Mike's provide lunch for the media event today, but March is their 12th annual Month of Giving! On March 30th, 100% of their proceeds will be donated to the Special Olympics! So if you're hungry that day, go get a sub at Jersey Mike's! More info on their Month of Giving HERE

This will be the largest Special Olympics USA Games in history! 20 sports with 5,500 athletes and coaches! To learn more about how you can attend or volunteer (they are still looking for lots of people to donate their time!), please visit https://www.2022specialolympicsusagames.org/get-involved for more info!
